**2-PERSON SCRAMBLE**

Entry Fee

$90 per player.

 

Format

This is a 2-person scramble format, also known as captain and mate. Players register as teams or as individuals (and get paired up by NYSGA staff). Instructions for the format is outlined below:

  • General Area: When the ball is in the general area (not in a penalty area, bunker or on a putting green), the ball may be lifted, cleaned and placed within one club-length of its original position, no closer to the hole. A ball may not be moved from a spot in the general area (fringe/rough) onto a green.
  • Putting Green: When a ball is on a putting green, both players must putt from that spot.
  • Penalty Areas and Bunkers: If a ball is in a bunker or penalty area, the ball must be played as it lies. The second ball must be dropped from knee height as near as possible to the spot of the first ball. The ball cannot be placed in a bunker or penalty area.  
  • Unmarked Areas: Any unmarked areas are considered in the general area.

 

Points

This is a counting event for the season-ending Points List (2021 season).

Listed below are the divisions (selected by players during registration) and assigned tees. A player may change their division only if notice is provided prior to the close of entries. To confirm your division, click here and select the division from the drop-down menu.

 

  • Men A (0-9.9)......................Tees TBA
  • Men B (10.0+).....................Tees TBA
  • Senior Men A (0-11.9) .......Tees TBA
  • Senior Men B (12.0+).........Tees TBA
  • Super Senior Men...............Tees TBA
  • Women. ..............................Tees TBA

 

Schedule of Events

Shotgun start of 1:00pm. The full schedule of events will be posted by 4/1.

 

Food Service

There is no food included with your entry fee. The availability options to purchase food while at the club will be posted by 8/1.

 

Registration

Players must check-in at the NYSGA registration tent located near the cart staging area. Players will not have access to the host club practice facilities before the driving range is scheduled to open.

 

Golf Carts

The golf carts at the club will be staged upon your arrival with cart signs to help you quickly locate your ride. Each cart will have a bottle of Saratoga Spring Water, snack, Notice to Players (Rules), and the scorecard for the players in the other cart.

 

Driving Range

The use of the driving range is included in your entry.
